Steel Cliche

For printing, we need plate, which carries design on it. There are three kind of plates used internationally.
  • Hardened Thick Steel Plate
  • Photo Polymer Plate
  • Thin Steel Plate
Hardened Thick Steel Plate
  • These plates are widely used internationally. Very special high quality alloy steel is used. It is hardened, ground and lapped to achieve very flat & fine surface. Because of hardened & lapped surface of high quality steel, abrasion is avoided.
  • Steel Hardness - 62 to 65 HRC Plate Thickness - 5 to 10 mm. Etch Depth - 18 to 40 microns Life of Plate - 10 lacks prints.
